Sankofa’s book launch programme introduces two thought-provoking titles by Isaac Aidoo: Ghanamatics: Measuring the Nation, Multiplying Her Future and We Need a New Ghanaian: 12 Decisions That Will Define Ghana’s Next Chapter. Together, these publications invite readers to reflect on Ghana’s journey and the responsibility of building a stronger nation. They bring questions of leadership, citizenship, values and national progress into a shared conversation.
Ghanamatics presents a vision of national development centred on people, data, ideas, integrity and action. Its message, “Measuring the Nation, Multiplying Her Future,” encourages reflection on how Ghana can understand its challenges and develop its potential. The cover highlights the ambition of a stronger, fairer and more prosperous Ghana. It invites readers to consider the relationship between opportunity, productivity and purposeful planning.
We Need a New Ghanaian turns attention towards the values and decisions that shape the nation’s future. Presented alongside the theme Ghana at 70: Reflections on Our Journey and the Responsibility Ahead, it encourages a thoughtful examination of citizenship and collective responsibility. Its subtitle places twelve decisions at the centre of Ghana’s next chapter. The title challenges readers to consider how personal choices can contribute to wider national transformation.
Through this book launch programme, Sankofa creates space for dialogue about our heritage, our responsibilities and our shared aspirations. It offers an opportunity to engage with ideas that encourage reflection beyond the pages of a book. Follow our official updates for the launch date, venue and participation details.
